Ella Devi Dabysing
Ella Devi Dabysing is a British abstract practitioner of English and Indian-Mauritian descent from South London. She attended the prestigious Manchester School of Art graduating in both Fine Art & Art History.
Ella’s artist career has seen her exhibit her works in various exhibitions both nationally and internationally. She has also contributed illustrations for well known online publications such as gal-dem and BRICKS.
Ella's practice is playful, wildly ambitious, and pushes the norm into abstract territories using colour and form. Her main focus of work looks to capture strong women that can command their space and control the viewer's gaze. Ella does not just capture these women's exterior but pays homage to their interior too.
